Employment Solicitor Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Solicitor to join our Employment team in Birmingham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing advice on contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including tribunal and regulatory cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert advice on employment law matters, including tribunal and regulatory cases.
  • Representing clients in preliminary tribunal and other contentious matters.
  • Assisting partners and senior lawyers with their caseload of files.
  • Contributing to the development of the department.
  • Accurately recording time in the firm's case management system.
  • Dealing directly with clients and maintaining the highest standard of care.

Requirements:

  • UK qualified Solicitor with NQ-2 PQE, with experience or training in a recognised employment firm or a reputable in-house department.
  • Experience with claimant and tribunal employment matters, ideally with experience handling matters from start to finish.
  • Proven ability to manage matters with minimal supervision and assist senior solicitors with complex matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • A passionate and enthusiastic personality with a desire for personal and team development.
