Compensation:
£33,000-£38,000 + £6,000 Bonus

Role Overview:

The position of Regional Sales Executive in the Plumbing & Heating sector will encompass:
  • A field sales role promoting a premium range of pipe clips and related fastening solutions.
  • 40% of your time will be dedicated to account development with approximately 200+ active independent plumbing & heating suppliers.
  • Responsible for managing around £450,000 in turnover from independent plumbing and heating suppliers.
  • 20% of your time will focus on account development with approximately 200+ active national plumbing & heating suppliers.
  • Creating product awareness among branch managers regarding available offerings through their distribution channels.
  • 30% of your efforts will be aimed at securing specifications within the new build housing sector, collaborating with regional builders and housing developers.
  • Inheriting a region that is currently exceeding budget expectations.
  • Average order values are typically around £200.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will possess:
  • Field sales experience within the plumbing & heating sector.
  • Experience with a manufacturer is preferred, but candidates with distributor experience may also be considered.
  • Experience selling into the new build housing market, with established contacts among regional builders and housing developers.
  • Industry knowledge and experience selling to plumbing & heating suppliers.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
  • A proven track record in field sales and territory management.
  • An autonomous work style.
  • A solid work ethic and proactive attitude.
  • Trustworthiness and self-motivation.
  • A strong desire to succeed and enthusiasm for the role.
