Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for the design and specification of building refurbishments, including extensions, window replacements, roofing, fencing, and general refurbishments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Specification: Develop and implement building refurbishment designs, ensuring compliance with current guidelines, standards, and regulations.
- Project Management: Lead the delivery of medium-sized building-related projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality expectations are met.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other services within Brackenberry and across disciplines to ensure effective project delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and planning to ensure project success.
- Communication: Maintain proactive liaison with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Degree-qualified in a relevant subject, with a number of years of experience in a similar role or significant vocational experience at a professional level.
- Technical Skills: Proven track record in building design and delivery using AutoCAD.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with building refurbishments, including extensions, window replacements, roofing, fencing, and general refurbishments.
Additional Requirements:
- Availability: Ability to work immediately or at short notice.
- Work Authorization: Right to work in the UK.
