About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at Eden Scott. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with hotels and service suppliers, contracting hotels group allocations, and negotiating the best terms for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel and meet with hoteliers to strengthen relationships and secure new contracts
  • Contract hotels and service suppliers to secure the best rates for our clients
  • Work with the team to allocate coach suppliers to the best opportunities and negotiate the best terms
  • Manage cancellation deadlines for Bedbanks and ensure the fulfillment of allocations and nesting space contracted
  • Evaluate risks on overbookings and discuss with hotel General Managers and operations managers/supervisors
  • Insert seasonal space into the operations system with attention to detail and follow procedures to minimize errors
  • Work with cancellation reports for Bedbanks based on deadlines and contracts signed
  • Collaborate with different teams in a collaborative and communicative manner
Requirements
  • Experience in the travel trade with groups or in hotel sales functions
  • Understanding of revenue, sales, seasonality, and groups business
  • Confident ability to use operations software and research
  • Knowledge of Tourplan NX is a bonus, but full training will be given
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for building relationships and social interaction
  • Willingness to travel around Scotland and Ireland visiting hotels on planned business schedules
