Housing Solicitor Job Opportunity

Gemini Recruitment is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit a skilled Housing Solicitor. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded team providing assistance to landlords and tenants on housing issues.

About the Role

The Housing Solicitor will be responsible for all aspects of Housing work, including casework, advocacy, and file management. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory experience, excellent networking and communication skills, and a working knowledge of publicly funded Housing work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with casework, including dealing with public and private housing cases, such as Homelessness, Disrepair, Eviction, Possession, Property Ownership Disputes, Succession for Tenants, and Neighbourhood Problems.
  • Ensure compliance with file management.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members.
Requirements
  • Previous proven supervisory experience.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of publicly funded Housing work.
  • Extensive experience in dealing with Housing related work.
  • Experience in own advocacy is an advantage.
  • Excellent IT Skills - familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills.
