Job Title: Christmas Temp Postal Delivery Driver

Location: Oxford East Delivery Office (OX4)

Working Hours: 14:00-20:00 (working hours may vary)

Shifts: Monday to Sunday (5 shifts across 7 days per week)

Hourly Rate: Monday to Saturday £13.37 / Sunday £14.49

Duration: ASAP - 08/01/25

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering parcels and post to customers in the Oxford East area. This will involve sorting mail at the local delivery office and then completing your round on foot or by van. You will be equipped with a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures and track your route.

The role requires you to be upbeat and self-motivated, with a strong sense of community. You will be working independently, but also as part of a team, and will need to be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and who is physically fit. Some experience in a customer-facing role would be an advantage.

Requirements
  • A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address), with no more than six penalty points
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Physically fit

Please note that you will be required to show your driving licence at your induction.
