A1 Jobs Ltd is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our production unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing safety, quality, throughput, and costs, working closely with the Site Manager to execute daily and weekly plans for key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste and costs.
  • Provide leadership to the on-shift management team, operatives, and engineers, in conjunction with the Engineering Supervisor.
  • Develop team leaders to delegate key tasks to operational teams and meet shift targets.
  • Support the effective use of process improvement tools, such as SPC, FMEAs, 5S, and Lean Sigma structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Implement plant sickness and absence policies, including return-to-work interviews.
  • Manage disciplinary actions, including investigations and delivery of disciplinary sanctions.
  • Communicate effectively through various reports, including investigations, shift reports, and assessments.

Requirements:

This is a shift rotation position, requiring the ability to work day and night shifts.
