Maintenance Manager Job Description

Macklin Care Homes Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and functionality of our care homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, including inspecting buildings, systems, and equipment for issues.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues, or schedule repairs when needed.
  • Ensure the care homes are safe and comply with regulations, including fire, smoke, and carbon monoxide systems.
  • Order and maintain supplies and tools, and monitor inventory.
  • Clean facilities and equipment at all times.
  • Maintain records of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Delegate tasks to other maintenance team members as and when required.
  • Perform general facilities support tasks, such as furniture building and removal, and grounds and site clearance.
