Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our team at an "Outstanding" Ofsted-rated Nursery in St Albans. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide pastoral support to children, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on children's progress and achievements.
  • Assist with the management of the classroom, ensuring a safe and organized learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  • Experience as a Room Leader or Deputy is desirable.
