Role Summary

This position is centered on crafting and executing the indirect procurement strategy for the facility, ensuring it aligns with the overarching Global Procurement, Program, and operational strategies of the site. The role encompasses overseeing a team of procurement specialists to enhance supplier performance in terms of cost efficiency, timely delivery, and quality assurance within the indirect supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for formulating the indirect purchasing strategy for the site and achieving Global Commodity objectives
  • Oversee site CAPEX initiatives and identify cost-saving prospects
  • Administer supplier agreements and evaluate performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with customer program specifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience, including at least 5 years in Procurement Management
  • Familiarity with an international supply chain
  • Proven leadership capabilities and relationship management skills

Preferred Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of the Aerospace sector
  • Core competencies include analytical thinking, decisiveness, and customer orientation
