We're seeking a highly skilled Store Manager to lead our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall daily operations of your store, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and line manage a team of Shift Leaders and colleagues in one store, ensuring regular quality time with them on shift.

- Continually review the shape and capability of your team to ensure a future-fit workforce through inspiring great performance and supporting individual development.
- Complete all people leadership tasks for your team, including absence management and problem-solving.
- Recognise and celebrate your team's contributions and performance regularly.
- Understand resource needs for your store, spotting and developing talent internally and externally recruiting the best people in the industry.
- Manage all KPIs for your store, sharing ideas with other Store Managers to maximise growth and profitability.
- Ensure your performance is measured through day-to-day activities, strategic objectives, and impact on others.
- Operate all services in your store, including Post Office Local, EvRi, and vending.
- Implement business changes and new ways of working in your store.
- Resource your store within your labour budget to ensure it remains open for trading and compliant.
- Ensure customers have a great shopping trip and the business brings benefit to local communities through trusted partnerships.
- Coch your team daily to deliver a great shopping trip and excellent retail store standards.
- Continually review local competitor activity to understand threats and opportunities, turning insight into action.
- Ensure customers and colleagues go home safely every day by leading a robust health and safety culture.
- Support your team with tasks such as serving customers, replenishing stock, and completing safe and legal routines.
- You will be the DPS/Premises holder and responsible for the sale of all alcohol from your store.
- If your store has a Post Office Local, you will be required to undergo a Post Office Financial and criminal conviction background check.
