About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Driver to join our team at Travis Perkins. As a key member of our fleet operations, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to our customers in a safe and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload vehicles in the yard using the HIAB, ensuring the vehicle is properly loaded and safe for transport.
  • Deliver building materials to customers in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to road and transport legislation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Work collaboratively with the branch team to ensure smooth operations and meet customer needs.
  • Participate in periodic CPC training and adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Class 2 driving license and up-to-date CPC records.
  • At least 12 months of driving experience.
  • Ability to work safely and professionally, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
