About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Hireful. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs, PPM, and general maintenance across our site.

You will also support and monitor external contractors when required. To be successful in this role, you will need to have qualifications in either mechanical engineering or electrical engineering (or both) from a reputable provider.

Experience working in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical settings is highly desirable. The role involves working on a rotating shift pattern, with one week working 5am-2.15pm and the next week working 2pm-11pm, with an early finish on Fridays. You will also spend 1 in 5 weeks on call, but this is supported by an on-call payment, plus call-out payment, plus time and a half, and a company van for travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical repairs, PPM, and general maintenance across the site.
