Workshop Plant Engineer

Attega Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Plant Workshop Engineer to join their team based in Hemel Hempstead. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and servicing construction plant equipment in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and diagnose technical problems with equipment
  • Perform general engineering duties, including working at height and beneath machines
  • Repair and maintain machines using lifting equipment
  • Drive and move machines within the workshop
  • Servicing a wide variety of machines
  • Supervise other workshop engineers to ensure high-quality work and safe working procedures
  • Assist with booking machines in and out
  • Ensure machines are ready for transport collections
  • Comply with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures
  • Carry out work practices in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping
  • Ensure tools are safe and legal to use
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the plant industry
  • Preferably apprentice-trained
