Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Response: Lead the detection and response to security-related incidents, ensuring timely and effective mitigation of threats.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Operational IT teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance incident response and overall team performance.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key team performance metrics and maintain up-to-date documentation of security procedures and risk reporting.
  • Risk Management: Develop and manage independent risk reporting, identifying and mitigating potential security risks to the organization.
  • Training and Development: Educate and develop more junior analysts, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Tool and Process Recommendations: Recommend process and tool improvements to enhance incident response and overall team performance.
  • Analysis and Testing: Analyze and test response capabilities to ensure they are effective and efficient.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a SOC environment, with international organization security operations experience.
  • Security Knowledge: Understanding of security controls and technology, familiarity with cyber security frameworks, and experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
