Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced dietitian to join our team at The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology and acute management of eating disorders.

• Provide specialist dietetic support to patients with gastrointestinal conditions, including functional bowel disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disease.
• Work closely with the gastroenterology consultants and nutrition nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Develop and improve the efficiency of the dietetic service, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
• Train and support junior staff, including students, to ensure the smooth running of the dietetic gastroenterology service.

• BSc in Dietetics or equivalent and registration with HCPC.
• Evidence of post-qualification experience, including nutrition support and enteral feeding.
• Member of the British Dietetics Association and specialist group such as the Gastroenterology Specialist group.
• Driving licence.

A competitive salary of £27,857 to £30,570 per annum pro-rata, including high cost area supplements (HCAS). A supportive and friendly team environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
