About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Belton Woods Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort.

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for leading by example, working alongside your team, and providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the quality and delivery of food leaving the kitchen pass is to a very high standard and presentable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading a team of chefs to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Ensuring the kitchen is run efficiently and effectively, with a focus on quality, safety, and hygiene
  • Managing stock control, costs, and wastage to optimize kitchen performance
  • Developing and implementing new menu ideas and concepts to drive business growth
  • Collaborating with the culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a hotel environment or high-volume operation
  • Strong knowledge of GP, stock control, costs, and wastage
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail
