Café Supervisor Job Description

Vacherin is seeking a skilled Café Supervisor to join our team at CBRE (Henrietta House). As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our café areas, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise café areas effectively, efficiently, and positively, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Support the Rise café manager in daily tasks and general preparation, maintaining a positive attitude and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Greet clients with fast, friendly, personalised service, developing a rapport with clients by learning their names, favourite drinks, and food items.
  • Allocate duties, organise staff productively and efficiently, and ensure staff achieve the required Company standards.
  • Ensure all coffee machines are running to the best of their ability and producing excellent coffee.
  • Keep counters clean and tidy, operating the Lolly till system efficiently and accurately.
  • Responsible for the training of staff to ensure consistent service of coffee and working closely with our coffee provider to bring innovation, creativity, and speciality coffees to our customers.
  • Support the Café manager in completing monthly stock takes using the Caternet system.
  • Carry out duties related to environmental sustainability and social responsibility, such as waste audits, recycling, responsible water & energy use, etc.
  • Ensure all equipment is well maintained and is in good working order, making recommendations for renewal and replacement when required.
  • Establish and maintain location cleaning schedules.
  • Attend all health and safety training courses as required.
