About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Assistant to join our team at First Milk. As a key member of our production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of production processes at our Haverfordwest facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and organize stock and planning activities across the Haverfordwest site, maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Ensure the efficient flow of production of 20kg blocks of cheese within the facility, moving products from the rapid chill store to the palletiser and on to onward dispatch vehicles.
  • Liaise with the supply chain planner to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Complete quality control checks and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide effective handover and holiday cover to ensure continuity of operations.
Requirements
  • Good general computer skills, with the ability to populate simple databases and spreadsheets.
  • At a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent at level 4 / Grade C or above in Maths and English.
