Role Overview: As a Finance Business Partner, you will provide essential financial guidance at our manufacturing facility, driving improvements in financial performance. Your responsibilities will encompass various financial tasks, including forecasting sales and margins, analyzing customer profitability, and assessing key financial metrics to mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and evaluate financial reports, delivering clear insights and actionable recommendations on performance.
- Utilize historical data and margin analysis to set financial objectives for customer accounts, proactively managing financial outcomes.
- Oversee the customer forecasting process, ensuring accurate monthly sales and margin projections.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer contracts and pricing strategies, leading initiatives for risk management and cost recovery.
- Adhere to month-end financial closing procedures, collaborating with corporate accounting and site management to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate's Degree is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration is preferred.
- 1 year of relevant experience is required; 2 years is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel is essential; familiarity with Google Sheets is a plus.
- Experience with financial systems is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities are crucial.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills are necessary.
