Example Recruitment Group is currently partnering with a national heating contractor to recruit self-employed heating engineers for an ongoing service and repair contract in the Glossop, Ashton, and Audenshaw area.

Contract Details:

Location: Glossop, Ashton, and Audenshaw

Work Type: Annual Service Visits (Annual Gas Safety Check), Landlord Gas Safety Records, and central heating repairs.

Work Load: 6-8 pre-booked appointments per day

Commitment: Minimum of 3 days per week, with up to 5 days available, plus optional weekends and evening call-out available at enhanced rates.

Contract Length: Ongoing (no end date)

Payment Terms:

• Annual Service Visit (Annual Gas Safety Check): £22.95 per property
• Repairs: £40.00 per completed property (full van stock and parts supplied)
• Linked Repair: £30.00 (if repair required at Annual Gas Safety Check)
• Long Duration: £120.00

Optional out-of-hours and weekend work is available at enhanced rates.

Requirements:

* 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer

• ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
• Side Panelled Van (plain or sign written)
• Gas Safe Registration
• Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser

• No unspent criminal convictions
