Job Description:

The RNN Group is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Personal Development Coordinator to join their Student Support Service team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for creating and delivering a comprehensive program of personal development activities and events for college learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a program of personal development activities that cater to the diverse needs of college learners
  • Work closely with learners to understand their needs and preferences
  • Organize and coordinate events that promote essential life and personal skills, including health, wellbeing, and learning opportunities
  • Build effective partnerships with external organizations to provide guest speaker delivery and learner voice activity
  • Collaborate with curriculum managers and tutors to ensure learners access appropriate personal development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Experience working in an educational environment, preferably in a Further Education/Post-16 setting
  • Qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent
  • Level 2 qualification in Guidance/Counselling or similar
  • Good customer service skills and ability to work with respect and confidentiality
