We are currently recruiting for a Senior Reinsurance Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a highly regarded and very well-known Lloyd's/London market business.
The key purpose of the role is to achieve prompt, accurate and consistent adjustment of claims liabilities in the Property & Specialty team.
Key Responsibilities
- Promptly handle Property and Marine Excess of Loss Reinsurance Claims.
- Reject invalid claims.
- Adjust the quantum of covered claims.
- Negotiate and resolve disputed claims.
- Ensure accurate reserves are recorded.
- Liaise with co-insurers as required.
- Raise, record and track queries on claims as required.
- Eliminate redundant reserves.
- Manage relationships with internal and external Lawyers and Adjusters.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience of handling Property and Marine Excess of Loss Reinsurance Claims within the Lloyd's Market, including experience of handling international claims.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
