Head of Quality and Regulatory Excellence

Celeros Flow Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Quality and Regulatory to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance across all aspects of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and develop the Quality Management System (QMS) and HSE procedures to ensure compliance with core 3rd party accreditations and customer specific certifications.
- Spearhead the quality function, taking strategic responsibility for quality development with customers, driving and further developing quality systems to ensure consistency, sustainability, and standardization to meet and exceed customer demands.
- Develop, implement, and measure appropriate Quality and HSE KPI's.
- Embed a Quality and Health, Safety and Environmental culture throughout all aspects of the business through engagement and encouragement of employees to increase awareness and build clear responsibilities.
- Support the implementation of risk management processes, including risk assessments, COSHH assessments and fire risk assessments.
- Ensure professional handling of non-conformities and customer complaints, specifically evaluating failures, identifying root-cause and technical responsibility along with initiating containment and corrective actions.
- Use Quality and CI tools to solve quality and operations problems identified during quality activities.
- Lead, manage and coordinate 3rd-party audits (regulatory bodies or Customer audits).
- Conduct periodic internal auditing of departments and processes in line with ISO standards and report on Quality and health and safety performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and associated legal requirements.
- Issue and continuously monitor key performance indicators (KPI's) to encourage a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop training materials and train/educate the workforce on the tools and techniques required for a successful QMS.
- Compile, analyse and retain subject matter data relevant to the organisation and its performance for reporting, strategic review, objective setting, policy setting, and traceability.
- Identify training needs and provide or source programs to help communicate and implement HSE policies, practice, and procedures within the site.
- Manage and control the document management department, ensuring timely and accurate project documentation packs and Quality plans compliant with customer and industry standards.
- Create and maintain an efficient quality system to assure quality standards are met throughout all stages of design, procurement, and manufacture.
- Compile, approve, and control QM manuals/procedures/work Instructions in conjunction with appropriate departments.
- Evaluate, audit and approve all suppliers/subcontractors, and manage the audit program at Worksop.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of the QMS systems and report findings to the local senior management team.
- Review and advise on Pre-sale Quality contractual issues and stipulations.
- Support Celeros FT company policies and operate with the highest ethical standards.
- Keep management team informed of significant issues or developments in the region identified during quality activities.
- Exhibit leadership qualities in providing vision, motivation, and inspiration, setting high standards and expectations.
- Prioritize and oversee activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Effectively present information to high level management at business unit and Divisional level.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Visit supplier and Customer sites as required to execute company QA business.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
- Previous experience with SAP or Oracle.
- Extensive experience of project/capital equipment-based businesses.
- HND (or Equivalent) in Quality Inspection - as the minimum requirement, ideally degree qualified in science or engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to influence the Quality aspects of complex contractor and subcontractor supplier relationships.
- Possess a recognized Quality qualification and accreditation.
- Demonstrated success in managing quality improvement programs.
- Demonstrated management experience and strong leadership skills.
