Key Responsibilities:
As the Venue Operations Manager, you will:
- Oversee the daily management of the bar and clubhouse.
- Ensure the bar is well-stocked and fully operational at all times.
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area.
- Address and resolve customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of clubhouse facilities on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and coordinate club events and functions.
- Lead by example, showcasing exceptional customer service and a strong work ethic.
- Inspire and manage a team of bar staff effectively.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a bar management role or a similar position.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A foundational understanding of inventory management and ordering processes.
Work Schedule:
Monday: 4 hours (flexible start and finish)
Saturday: 8am - 4pm
Sunday: 8am - 5pm
Compensation:
£24,960 per annum plus £5,000 in bonuses for event management.
Additional Benefits:
- Onsite parking available.
- Management of bar operations every Saturday and Sunday during open hours.
- Three evening shifts per week overseeing bar activities.
- Stakeholder pension plan.
Holiday Entitlement:
20 days of holiday pro-rata.
