Position: Venue Operations Manager

Overview:
Our client operates a premier sporting facility and is seeking a dedicated individual with a blend of experience and a personable approach to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a natural enthusiasm for customer service and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
As the Venue Operations Manager, you will:
  • Oversee the daily management of the bar and clubhouse.
  • Ensure the bar is well-stocked and fully operational at all times.
  • Manage inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough cleaning of clubhouse facilities on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to plan and coordinate club events and functions.
  • Lead by example, showcasing exceptional customer service and a strong work ethic.
  • Inspire and manage a team of bar staff effectively.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:
  • Previous experience in a bar management role or a similar position.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A foundational understanding of inventory management and ordering processes.

Work Schedule:
Monday: 4 hours (flexible start and finish)
Saturday: 8am - 4pm
Sunday: 8am - 5pm

Compensation:
£24,960 per annum plus £5,000 in bonuses for event management.

Additional Benefits:
  • Onsite parking available.
  • Management of bar operations every Saturday and Sunday during open hours.
  • Three evening shifts per week overseeing bar activities.
  • Stakeholder pension plan.

Holiday Entitlement:
20 days of holiday pro-rata.
