Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Supervisor Engineer - RN Support to join our team at RNAS Culdrose. As a key member of our Aircraft Engineering services, you will play a critical role in supporting operational deliverables and interfaces in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of aircraft engineers to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of Merlin aircraft.
  • Develop and implement lean operating procedures to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with naval air publications and compound – interactive electronic technical publications (CIETP).
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including the control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) and tool control.
  • Manage and maintain engineering and asset management systems.
  • Provide training and coaching to junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years working in an airworthiness environment, with relevant experience for the Merlin aircraft.
  • Certificate of Competency for Supervisory level.
  • Previous experience and a good working knowledge of Merlin aircraft engineering and systems, lean operating procedures, and naval air publications.
