Quality Assurance Inspector

Major Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Goods Inwards Inspector to join our esteemed client located in the Stokesley region.
This role is a Full-time Permanent position, comprising 39 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with a competitive salary range of £24,000 - £30,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure all incoming goods and materials adhere to established quality standards.
- Perform testing and documentation to verify compliance with specifications.
- Ensure that any non-conforming products are contained until resolved.
Additional Duties:
- Execute documentation checks in line with company procedures.
- Identify and record any non-conformities, defects, or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to address issues and maintain accurate records.
- Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the goods inward area.
- Support the Goods In Team as required.
Qualifications:
- Certification or training in quality control or inspection techniques.
- A level standard qualification or higher.
Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify defects or discrepancies.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Competent in data entry and documentation.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards is advantageous.
- Experience in maintaining ERP systems is preferred.
