Corporate PR Account Director - Senior Account Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate PR Account Director or Senior Account Director to join our team at Black Cherry Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our agency, you will be responsible for leading complex PR campaigns and developing strategic counsel for senior clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies for clients across various sectors, including food and drink, property and real estate, and tech.
  • Take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely delivery and meeting KPIs.
  • Act as lead client counsel, providing senior clients with clear and well-informed strategic counsel.
  • Manage and support a team to ensure deadlines and KPIs are met.
  • Review and advise on content placement across earned, owned, paid, and social media channels.
  • Lead planning and review meetings, generating ideas and spotting opportunities for clients.
  • Maintain senior client and media relationships, leveraging expertise in client businesses, sectors, and media.
  • Identify potential new business leads and areas of growth, leading new business pitches.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, either as a Senior Account Manager or Account Director.
  • Experience in handling complex client issues and providing senior clients with clear strategic counsel.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to deliver projects to budget.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to apply solutions quickly.
  • Organisational, planning, and client management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and support junior colleagues.
  • Ability to think critically, creatively, and demonstrate good judgement.
  • A good work ethic, flexibility, and enthusiasm to deliver work of a consistently high standard.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
