About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at Nuffield Health Oxford, The Manor Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical screening and processing of SACT prescriptions, ensuring the safe and effective use of oncology medications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmaceutical care for oncology patients, conducting medication reviews and providing personalized care plans.
  • Manage and review chemotherapy and other oncology-related drug therapies, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols and monitoring for potential adverse effects.
  • Advise patients on the use of SACT medications, side effects counselling, and supplementary medication.
  • Serve as a resource for healthcare professionals, providing up-to-date information on oncology medications and treatment protocols.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of oncology pharmacy policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Requirements
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council and proven post-qualification experience.
  • Previous relevant experience in oncology pharmacy or a related field.
