Children's Home Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children's Home Manager to lead the creation of a new, nurturing children's home in Crewe. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and developing a high-performing staff team, promoting collaborative practices with young people and their families, and ensuring the highest standards of care and well-being for the children in placement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and develop a new, innovative children's residential service
  • Manage and nurture a high-performing staff team
  • Set and review ambitious targets for the care team
  • Promote collaborative practices with young people and their families
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and well-being for the children in placement
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in staff supervision and management
  • At least 2 years' relevant experience in residential childcare, ideally as a Deputy Manager
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • A full clean driving license
  • Proven ability to provide consistent, nurturing care to young people
  • Experience working with children displaying challenging behaviours
  • Flexibility to cover shifts as needed
What We Offer:
  • £45,000 - £55,000 salary range
  • £5,000 bonus for a Good Ofsted rating
  • £6,000 bonus for an Outstanding Ofsted rating
  • £2,500 joining bonus
