Position Overview

The East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a dedicated Gas Fitter to join our Housing Maintenance team.


The successful applicant will be tasked with performing gas repairs and upkeep of the council's residential properties, including those that are unoccupied.

Your responsibilities will include executing gas maintenance and repair services, which encompass the inspection and testing of all gas appliances, ensuring compliance with the current gas regulations and British Standards.


We are in search of individuals who are self-driven and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team, possessing the skills to deliver high-quality workmanship.


A company vehicle will be supplied, along with a stock of necessary materials. Additionally, work attire and personal protective equipment will be provided, along with specialized tools and equipment to facilitate your tasks.
