We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our highly experienced Depot management team at DPDGroup UK LTD.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the smooth running of our operation, ensuring outstanding service to our customers and achieving challenging objectives around Cost, Health & Safety, Security, Productivity, and Transport.
- Recruitment, development, and retention of staff, ensuring all compliance and Employee Relations processes are being followed.
- Managing Profit and Loss through effective planning and reporting.
- Improving the overall support to the Operation while concentrating on new and innovative ways of working.
- Extensive experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution industries.
- Ability to run a fast-paced operation, managing and motivating high-performing operational teams.
- Experience of monitoring performance, with the ability to analyze data to identify improvements and successfully implement change.
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence strategy.
- Demonstrate the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Caring, and Accountability.
- Ability to cover any 5 shifts, including some weekend working.
- A full UK driving license is essential.
- Competitive salary of circa £53,000 plus a bonus scheme based on company and personal performance.
