About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Legal Counsel to join our team at Arora Group. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on a wide range of commercial and property-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality legal advice and support to the business, including negotiation, drafting, and reviewing of complex commercial contracts.
  • Support the General Counsel in delivering strategic projects and addressing day-to-day legal needs of the group.
  • Act with autonomy and take responsibility for assigned tasks and projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide general legal advice and support, including research, legislative updates, and assistance with compliance matters.
  • Deal effectively with a broad range of legal matters, including corporate, commercial, regulatory, financial services, and litigious matters.
  • Manage internal processes and ensure proper stakeholder engagement and good governance throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Support the General Counsel in managing outside legal counsel when appropriate.
  • Work with the General Counsel to develop and roll out new template agreements, policies, and legal procedures, ensuring all legal processes and procedures are followed and adhered to.
Requirements
  • Qualified UK solicitor with 0-3 years PQE experience (will consider other PQE levels and qualified lawyers from other common law jurisdictions with eligibility to sit QLT).
  • Strong commercial outlook and pragmatic approach to legal practice.
  • Solid training from a reputable law firm and/or business.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, commercial, and demanding environment.
