We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural & CAD Design Manager to lead our design team. As the Architectural & CAD Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design process, managing the CAD team, and ensuring high-quality and innovative designs that meet client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the architectural design process, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project goals, budgets, and timelines.
- Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings, renderings, and models.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the CAD team, ensuring their professional development and growth.
- Coordinate with contractors and construction teams during the construction phase to ensure that design intent is maintained.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in architecture and CAD design.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- Excellent 3D CAD modelling skills - using Autodesk Inventor.
- Good knowledge of parametric control /iLogic is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a focus on CAD software.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and stakeholders.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous architectural designs and CAD work.
- Proficiency in reading construction/manufacturing drawings.
