About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Broker to join our team at Brown & Brown (Europe). As a key member of our commercial insurance team, you will be responsible for handling commercial and mid-corporate sized risks for prestigious clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle commercial and mid-corporate sized risks for clients, including new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals.
  • Work with account executives and directors to achieve new business and renewal targets through proactive administration and customer support.
  • Secure and arrange appropriate cover at renewal, completing all relevant documentation and handing over to relevant account executives or directors.
  • Take instructions from clients and account executives regarding the provision of insurance cover.
  • Support account executives and directors through management of their prospect pipeline, providing profiling on prospects through telephone, media, and public domain information.
  • Prepare renewal review reports on behalf of the book or account executive, including current claims experience.
  • Obtain quotations for agreed 'up sales' (e.g. excess PL, D&O, excess PI, loss recovery, or additional services) and include in the review document.
  • Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers, and other third parties in a professional and timely manner, involving relevant account executives or directors as necessary.
  • Maintain an efficient diary system, including age debtors lists, accounts queries, chasing documentation, and renewal terms.
  • Liaise with insurers and other third parties regarding the administration of client insurance needs.
Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of commercial insurance broking experience.
  • Confident in handling quotation enquiries, renewals, and mid-term adjustments for various insurance policies.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance markets, products, wordings, and options.
  • Acturis insurance broking software knowledge is an advantage.
