Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the care home.
- Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date medication records.
- Ensure adequate staffing is maintained within the care home.
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
- Build lasting relationships with residents, their families, and local partners, fostering a sense of community.
- Liaise with local partners to raise the care home's profile and promote our services.
Requirements
- Hold a valid UK NMC pin and commit to ongoing professional development.
- Understand the impact of quality nursing care on residents' lives, promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
- Be an effective leader, able to build relationships, lead, mentor, and manage a team.
