Our passionate team, consisting of dentists, hygienists, and dental nurses, is committed to providing top-notch care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Opportunities for Treatment Coordination, encompassing the patient experience, social media engagement, and treatment management.
- Assisting the dentist with various treatment procedures, including implant surgeries.
- Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensuring patient comfort before, during, and after dental procedures.
- Setting up and preparing the treatment area for each patient and their specific treatment plan.
- Cleaning and sterilizing all instruments and work surfaces to meet required standards.
- Safely disposing of sharps and clinical waste.
- Providing clinical support under the guidance of the Dentist/Specialist.
- Monitoring and managing inventory, coordinating with the stock nurse for any shortages.
- Adhering to all practice policies and procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Building and sustaining effective working relationships with the dental team.
- Engaging in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in line with GDC guidelines.
- Preferred prior experience in Treatment Coordination.
- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with outstanding listening abilities.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Capability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced team environment.
- Motivated, friendly, adaptable, punctual, and organized.
- Qualification in Dental Nursing – NEBDN or NVQ.
- Registered Dental Nurse with the General Dental Council.
- Post-qualification experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in IT; familiarity with the SOE practice management system is a plus.
