Job Role:

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Plumber to join our team at HMP Bure, a Category C & Adult male prison. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality maintenance services to our facilities, including plumbing, heating, and water systems.
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced and passionate colleagues to maintain a safe and secure environment for all.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety requirements, including Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8.
  • Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
  • Provide excellent organisational, time management, and people skills to support the team.
