Job Summary:

Hunter Savage is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Conduct thorough fault analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities are operated in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop and implement maintenance strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • Perform other engineering duties as required to support the smooth operation of our facilities.

Requirements:

  • Time served maintenance engineer with a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Manufacturing experience with a focus on maintenance and repair.
  • Experience with fault finding on PLCs and other control systems.
