Job Title: Principal Electrical & ICA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical & ICA Engineer to join our team in Bristol or Exeter, with the option for hybrid working. As a key member of our engineering team, you will report directly to the Regional Discipline Lead or Regional Engineering Lead and be responsible for providing exceptional quality Engineering Design services to support our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop cost-effective design layouts that meet project specifications and can be constructed and commissioned efficiently, considering all costs associated with the design and construction.
  • Ensure the adoption of standard practices wherever possible to maintain competitiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide estimates and feedback to the Proposals department to support business development.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedures and processes to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure design coordination and effective project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate files and records throughout contract duration.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by working within a culture that prioritizes customer needs and recognizes their importance in achieving business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a personal development plan to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Support the supervision and development of staff, ensuring a safe working environment and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure designs consider environmental factors and adhere to health and safety requirements.
