Job Title: Scrum Master

Thales is a global leader in the aerospace, transportation, defence, security, and space industries. We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team in Crawley, UK.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Scrum Master to lead our agile delivery teams and drive business agility across the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage agile delivery teams to deliver high-quality products and services
  • Apply agile practices and run agile ceremonies in Thales UK programmes
  • Support Product Owners in setting and enacting product visions and establishing critical success factors for delivery
  • Build and maintain business relationships with clients, suppliers, and third-party stakeholders
  • Drive business growth through working closely with sales and account management to identify profitable business opportunities
  • Lead continuous growth initiatives through management and leadership
Requirements:
  • Agile mindset with experience in delivery and coaching teams in agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, LeSS, SAFe, etc.)
  • Ability to understand and articulate how agile practices can be applied to Thales digital engagements and bridge between legacy practices and modern scaled agile deliveries
  • Ability to build and maintain an effective scaled agile delivery team
  • Ability to take responsibility for the translation and measurement of value and ensure it relates to practical client objectives and user needs
  • Ability to ensure working practices are iterated to achieve effective delivery
  • Ability to support effective budget management within the constraints of a project
Desired Experience:
  • Successful examples of delivering agile engagements, preferably in a defence domain
Security Clearance:

The successful candidate will be required to obtain SC Clearance (at a minimum) and may be required to undergo further security vetting.
