We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to client specification.
Key Responsibilities- Create a safe working environment and ensure compliance with relevant legislations.
- Embed a culture of safety, quality, and excellence.
- Engage with designers to ensure safe, buildable, and timely designs.
- Plan, prepare, and facilitate collaborative workshops.
- Interview, select, and onboard staff.
- Ensure all pre-commencement and regulatory requirements are discharged.
- Plan and prepare for delivery of the scheme throughout the project lifecycle.
- Appoint a Temporary Works Coordinator and ensure all Temporary Works requirements are understood and designed in a timely manner.
- Champion the use of innovative technologies and techniques.
- Take ownership of risk and opportunities in conjunction with the Risk Manager.
- Lead the Commercial Team to manage costs, maximize cash flow, and profitability.
- Ensure any incidents/accidents are thoroughly investigated, closed out, and learnings implemented.
- Take ownership for the delivery and quality of work to the required standards.
- Manage the Construction Teams and Supply Chain partners to ensure delivery of the scheme in line with the agreed budget, programme, and scope.
- Ensure adequate resource to fulfill the programme, including demobilization and redeployment of the team at the end of the project.
- Engage with the Performance Team to ensure all CPF/BSC scoring is completed and evidenced.
- Ensure all internal and external reporting is completed as required.
- Manage, monitor, and review direct reports and team performances.
- Promote a positive safety, quality, and FREDIE culture.
- Proven experience in successfully managing multiple teams contributing to their professional development.
- First-class project management capabilities with a track record of delivering to client expectations.
- Expertise in developing a performance culture.
- Advanced communication skills adept at interfacing with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of CDM.
- Excellent knowledge of NEC and commercially astute.
- Proven leadership and delegation skills.
