Vehicle Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery and collection of Hertz vehicles, while maintaining the company's cleanliness, safety standards, and brand. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect vehicles from the branch to customers in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and meet or exceed location targets for customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS) scores.
  • Handle safety in a driving and operational capacity to ensure customers and colleagues are safe at all times.
  • Identify and regularly check vehicle maintenance standards to ensure a rentable standard is met.
  • Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all delivery and collection provisions, including control of customer data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • Clean and inspect vehicles to ensure they leave the location in pristine condition.

Requirements:

  • Full Driving License, valid in the UK with no more than 3 points.
  • Previous customer service experience desirable.
  • Good level of computer literacy.
  • Good level of written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a customer service focus within the organisation.
  • Creates an atmosphere that inspires others to achieve at a higher level.
