Job Title: Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at FCC Environment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the Engineering function across four quarry sites and three engineering workshops.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Engineering function to ensure the health and safety of staff, contractors, and visitors to site.
  • Minimise the effect of the engineering function on the environment.
  • Plan and execute engineering projects in line with the annual budget.
  • Manage engineering staff and contractors, including fixed plant upgrade works, preventative and planned maintenance, and repair of all plant.
  • Recruit, train, and develop engineering staff to ensure the team is equipped to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements:
  • At least five years of management experience in the Quarry or similar industrial facility.
  • QCF 6/NVQ4 in Extractives Management or be willing to study for it.
  • Qualified electrician or extensive electrical knowledge preferred.
