Position Overview

Cennox UK and Ireland is seeking a Versatile Installer and Tradesperson to become a vital part of our IMAC (Installations, Movements and Changes) Team on a full-time permanent basis. Cennox collaborates with premier brands to execute intricate projects, offering nationwide installation services, technical hardware solutions, and implementing security measures, signage initiatives, and branch renovations.

This role involves frequent travel to client locations, thus we prefer candidates residing in proximity to Cheltenham to meet customer expectations regarding scheduling and service level agreements (SLAs). Due to the nature of our retail and banking clientele, occasional evening work, overnight stays, and weekend assignments may be required.

Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including but not limited to the installation and removal of decommissioned ATM cash machines, construction activities such as bricklaying, tiling, carpentry, and joinery, while adhering to customized plans prior to arrival. Collaboration within a team to surpass customer expectations and fulfill SLAs is essential.

We will equip you with a company vehicle, necessary tools, a mobile device, and a laptop, along with training and a supportive network to facilitate your work.

Heavy equipment handling using mechanical aids as part of a team is a requirement, and a valid UK Driving Licence is mandatory. Candidates must be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes. Proficiency and experience in brickwork, blockwork, carpentry, joinery, or tiling (both floors and walls) or a combination thereof is essential. A CSCS Card would be beneficial.
