About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect to join our Cloud Engineering team at Simply Business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive Intune environment, ensuring our Windows endpoints are secure, up-to-date, and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Intune Architect: Design and implement a robust Intune environment, encompassing device provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and patch management.
  • Windows 11 Expert: Lead the migration to Windows 11, ensuring a seamless transition for users and addressing any compatibility issues.
  • Automation Champion: Automate repetitive endpoint management tasks, streamlining processes and minimizing manual effort.
  • Patching Guru: Implement a robust patching cadence, ensuring that all devices are up-to-date with the latest security updates and patches.
  • Project Manager: Lead and contribute to projects, collaborating with stakeholders, defining scope, and driving successful outcomes.
  • Operational Support: Provide expert-level support for endpoint and infrastructure-related issues, troubleshooting complex problems and ensuring system availability. Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
  • Infrastructure Generalist: Contribute to the overall management and maintenance of our cloud-based IT infrastructure (AWS/SaaS), demonstrating a broad understanding of IAM, networking, and other core technologies.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Intune and endpoint management principles (macOS/JAMF as well is a bonus).
  • Expertise in Windows 11 deployment and management.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell) for automation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Understanding of modern cloud IT infrastructure and operations concepts.
