Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Community Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing diagnosis, management, and consultation for complex mental health presentations to the team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with eating disorders and complex mental health needs.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop effective treatment plans and provide consultation and advice to professionals in the wider network.
- Participate in yearly appraisal of all medical duties and ensure relevant professional registration is maintained.
- Contribute to the development of internal clinical pathways and provide leadership and support to the team.

Requirements- MRCPsych or equivalent qualification.
- Full GMC Registration and Section 12 Approval.
- Experience in psychiatric practice and in the use of psychological therapies.
- Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents with eating disorders and complex mental health needs.
