We are currently seeking a Receptionist to fill a permanent, part-time position, offering 25 hours of work each week.
Your working hours will be structured as follows: Monday 08:30 – 13:00, Wednesday 08:30 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 18:30, Thursday 13:00 – 17:00, and Friday 08:30 – 13:00 and 14:00 - 17:00.

The Role
As a Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in our practice, ensuring operations run seamlessly and patients feel at ease.
Serving as the first point of contact, you will handle incoming calls from patients and address in-person inquiries, as well as manage patient registrations and appointment scheduling, ensuring a caring and attentive environment.
You will also maintain patient records using various online and clinical systems, ensuring that healthcare professionals have access to essential patient information.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Handling incoming correspondence
- Keeping the reception area welcoming and organized for all visitors
- Providing patients with information and test results
To qualify for the Receptionist position, you should possess:
- Experience in customer service or public-facing roles
- A compassionate and positive demeanor when addressing inquiries
- Strong communication skills, with a focus on confidentiality
- Basic computer proficiency
- Excellent organizational abilities
- At least GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades C or A* in English and Maths
Other titles that may be relevant to this role include Office Assistant, Secretary, Surgery Receptionist, Front Office Administrator, Administrator, Admin Clerk, or Reception Assistant.
