About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools. This role is ideal for individuals looking to apply their psychological knowledge in a hands-on educational setting, supporting the emotional and academic development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities, promoting engagement and understanding among students.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment, fostering a sense of community and respect among students and staff.
  • Support students with special educational needs, using your psychology background to develop tailored approaches and strategies.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents to inform future support and interventions.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities, enhancing your skills and knowledge in education and child development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of child development and learning theories, with a commitment to applying this knowledge in a practical educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children, with a focus on supporting their emotional and academic well-being.
  • Previous experience in educational settings is preferred but not required, as we provide comprehensive training and support for all our staff.
