About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Indonesian Games Tester to join our team at Universally Speaking. As a Linguistic Quality Assurance Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of games and applications for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough linguistic testing of games and applications to identify and report bugs and errors.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure that all features of the project are thoroughly tested and supported.
  • Develop and execute test cases throughout the project life cycle, including document testing practices and LQA process reporting methods.
  • Participate in test requirement gathering with developers to ensure effective testing and support of all project features.
  • Continuously improve and refine testing processes and techniques to ensure the highest quality of games and applications.
Requirements
  • Expert-level proficiency in Indonesian language and culture.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Passion for video games and gaming industry.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Proactive, tenacious, and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including word processing, database handling, and record keeping.
  • Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Previous experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading.
  • Experience with software tools used for LQA testing, including test case management and text editing tools.
  • Working knowledge of CAT tools, such as MemoQ.
  • Knowledge of the video game industry and trends.
  • Bachelor's degree in linguistics or related field.
